1teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoonkosher salt
¼teaspoonfresh ground black pepper
Instructions
Prep the pan: Preheat oven to broil. Place the rack at the highest level. Put a baking sheet in the oven.
Season the broccoli: Put broccoli in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder, kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper. Toss or mix the broccoli with the oil and seasonings so it completely covered.
Transfer broccoli to pan: Carefully remove the hot baking sheet from the oven. Transfer the seasoned broccoli to the baking sheet. Arrange in a single layer.
Broil broccoli: Return the baking sheet to the over. Broil the broccoli for 3 minutes. Rotate the pan and broil for another 2-3 minutes. The broccoli should be charred in spots.
Serve: Remove from the oven and serve.
