Meatball Stroganoff

This easy, made from scratch Meatball Stroganoff recipe is delicious comfort food.  No frozen meatballs or canned soup in this dish.

It's a combination of flavorful homemade beef and pork meatballs smothered in a creamy and tangy onion mushroom gravy.

- ground beef - ground pork - worcestershire sauce - bread crumbs

In a large bowl make the meatball mixture. Try not to overmix the mixture or the meatballs will be tough.

Step 1

Using about a tablespoon of the meatball mixture, form into balls. Place on the prepared sheet pan.

Step 2

Bake the meatballs in the oven for 16 to 18 minutes or until the internal temperature is about 160 degrees F on a instant read digital thermometer.

Step 3

While the meatballs bake, prepare the sauce. In a large sauté pan, melt the salted butter. The onions and mushrooms should be just soft, but still holding their shape.

Step 4

Add the tomato paste and Dijon mustard. Stir and cook for about 1 minute.
